Our Story, Built from the Ground Up

In 1984, at just 20 years old, Bill Borgiel left college and stepped in to rebuild his family’s commercial roofing business. Armed with four employees, one secretary, and a determination to succeed, he transformed the company — then on the brink of bankruptcy — into one of the Midwest’s most trusted commercial roofing contractors.

Today, Mr. Borgiel still oversees field operations personally. That hands-on approach ensures every Lutz Roofing project upholds the highest standards of safety, service, and craftsmanship.
